Two ways to experience Nepal
We are preparing two distinct, small-group journeys for 2027: a spring discovery journey through Nepal's living heritage, countryside, and Himalayan horizons over the Easter holidays, and a slower Yoga & Ayurveda retreat journey in July.
Select an experience
Each journey is tailored to a distinct rhythm of travel, combining regional intimacy with mindful pacing.

Easter in Nepal
A small-group journey for people who want to experience Nepal without turning the holiday into a major expedition.
Paced to balance cultural exploration in Kathmandu with an optional Annapurna foothills trek or a wellness stay in Pokhara, before wildlife and a relaxed farewell.

Proposed journey structure
Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu, settle in after the flight, and take your first gentle walks through quiet courtyards, temple squares, and the historic old town. Evenings are unhurried, with time to acclimatise, enjoy a welcome meal, and feel the rhythm of the city before the journey unfolds.
Kathmandu Valley
Spend several days in the Kathmandu Valley exploring Patan, Bhaktapur, and surrounding Newari villages with local guides. Visit pottery squares, artisan workshops, and centuries-old brick architecture at a human pace, with room for café stops, market wandering, and quiet temple courtyards.
Pokhara
After Kathmandu, we travel to Pokhara and head into the foothills for a 3–4 day trek, ideally the classic Poon Hill route for its sunrise panorama, or the shorter Ghandruk loop if the group prefers something gentler.
Pokhara
Those who prefer not to trek stay in Pokhara for a wellness-focused stay with lake-side time, gentle excursions, and optional spa or Ayurvedic treatments.
Chitwan
Leave the mountains for the Terai lowlands and Chitwan National Park. A jeep safari through jungle and grasslands offers rhino, deer, and birdlife; a river excursion on the Rapti or Narayani adds another perspective. Evenings are relaxed at a comfortable lodge near the park.
Kathmandu Return
Return to Kathmandu for a final night or two before flying home. Enjoy a celebratory dinner of regional Himalayan cuisine, last-minute browsing in artisan bazaars, and unhurried time to pack, reflect, and say farewell to the group.
Who this journey is for
We design our journeys for curious travellers who value quality of experience over checklist tourism. Trekking gear is not required upfront. The route is chosen with the group, and a wellness stay in Pokhara is always available for those who prefer not to trek.
"A balanced bridge between independent discovery and seamless companionship, tailored for those who want Nepal to feel personal."
Independent spirit, curated ease
You want to experience Nepal deeply without the exhaustion and complexity of arranging every transfer, permit, and local guide entirely on your own.
Intimacy over crowds
You prefer small, thoughtful groups of like-minded travellers over impersonal, large-format coach tours.
Culture, food & landscape lovers
You appreciate authentic regional cooking, historic architecture, temple rituals, and scenic village walks at a relaxed human rhythm.
Choose your mountain experience
Join a classic foothill trek to Poon Hill or the gentler Ghandruk loop, or stay in Pokhara for a wellness-focused lakeside stay. No high-altitude expedition required.
Trek if you want, rest if you don't
The group decides together whether to take the 3–4 day trek or enjoy spa treatments, lake excursions, and gentle day trips from Pokhara.
Seamless local logistics
You like having transfers, curated boutique lodgings, and trusted local experts organized seamlessly in advance.
Structure without feeling rushed
You value a well-considered flow of days that allows for unhurried morning teas, personal wandering, and spontaneous moments.
Not a conventional package tour
"This is not intended to be a bus tour racing through Nepal's major attractions. The journey combines the places worth seeing with enough time to actually experience them."
Multiple-night stays in key locations rather than packing luggage every morning.
Hosted alongside local Newari and Himalayan families, independent artisans, and trusted guides.
Dedicated free afternoons to read, wander village lanes, or sit peacefully at a scenic viewpoint.
Yoga & Ayurveda in Nepal
A slower Nepal journey centred around a multi-day yoga and Ayurveda retreat, combined with thoughtful time to experience the country itself.
Carefully divided between cultural orientation, an immersive retreat sanctuary, and quiet natural surroundings.
"The retreat is the heart of the journey, but travelling all the way to Nepal should also mean experiencing Nepal itself."
More than a retreat
Rather than staying locked away in an isolated compound, this journey allows you to experience Nepal's ancient soul before stepping into the stillness of the retreat setting.
2–3 Days: Discovering Kathmandu & The Valley
Arrive gently, acclimatize, and visit historic spiritual sites and quiet courtyard temples with local heritage hosts.
7–10 Days: Dedicated Yoga & Ayurveda Sanctuary
Settle into a peaceful mountain sanctuary for daily yoga, meditation, and depending on the final programme, Ayurvedic consultations, treatments, and time for deep restorative stillness.
Cultural or Nature Experiences
Gentle guided walks through green valley trails, visits to hillside monasteries, or quiet lakeside contemplation in Pokhara.
A Relaxed Final Day Before Departure
Unrushed farewell gathering, nourishing celebratory meal, and effortless transfer coordination for departure flights.

What the retreat may include
We are designing a holistic daily rhythm that emphasizes nourishment, personal restoration, and authentic Ayurvedic principles in a quiet natural sanctuary.
Daily Yoga & Mindful Movement
Morning practices to awaken vitality and gentle evening restorative sessions designed for all experience levels.
Meditation & Mountain Breathwork
Simple, grounding pranayama techniques practiced in clear Himalayan air overlooking peaceful valleys.
Individual Ayurvedic Consultations
Depending on the final programme, personalised consultations with experienced Ayurvedic practitioners may be included.
Therapeutic Body Treatments
Traditional herbal treatments may be offered as part of the retreat, subject to the final partner programme.
Wholesome, Nourishing Cuisine
Freshly prepared vegetarian meals crafted with seasonal, locally sourced Himalayan produce and Ayurvedic herbs.
Nature, Space & Gentle Excursions
Open afternoons with time to read, walk mountain trails, visit nearby quiet monasteries, or simply rest.
Our sessions emphasize restorative movement, body awareness, and grounding breathwork tailored comfortably to individual flexibility and experience.
Who the July journey is for

Created by people who know the region
These journeys come from a long-standing connection with Nepal and India, built over years of travelling, living, and building friendships across the region, with Belgian and Indian roots shaping how we see both places.
Bonnie brings a yoga teaching background; Pascal has spent years travelling and organising trips in Nepal and the wider region. Together we prefer small, personal journeys over mass-market tours.
Throughout 2026 we are on the ground scouting locations, meeting local partners, and shaping both routes before the details are announced.
We're building these journeys now
Great journeys are not assembled from brochures or third-party wholesalers. Throughout 2026, our team is on the ground in Nepal doing the foundational fieldwork.
Waiting-list members will hear about the final routes, dates and prices first as each journey takes shape.
Handpicking Retreat Sanctuaries
Visiting serene hillside and valley properties to ensure peaceful acoustic isolation, pure spring water, clean natural gardens, and authentic Ayurvedic treatment rooms.
